Anne Dubos is an anthropologist and a transmedia artist.
Her research focuses on both fundamental objects such as Indian culture, embodied cognition, and praxeology, and the design of experimental apparatuses for dance and media.
Since 2005, she has traced the history of Indian theatres, and has highlighted the variety of techniques of the actor’s body. In search of new paradigms, she now questions the emergence of new theories on the perception of movement.
In 2015, she founded the Little Heart Movement, in which dancers, actors, digital artists, engineers, computer scientists, musicians, anthropologists, architects, and (bio) mechanicians collaborate.
She leads transmedial workshops in Europe and India, where each actor is invited to perform a trace, formed in the common space of a collective narration.
