In this reading group, we will be exploring David Graeber’s popular essay, ‘What’s the Point If We Can’t Have Fun?‘ Led by anthropologist of deplorable animals, Avi (Dr KBH), the meeting will continue on from the last event. This time we will be continuing with Graeber’s essay but will provide time to delve deeper into the topics raised in Part 1, specifically how centering play might reconfigure our relationships with other animals, bugs, plants, microbes, mountains etc.
