What makes us different from other collective art projects?

The idea of combining art, collective creation, shared memories, and collaboration across the community—children and adults alike—is not new. To some extent, it feels impossible to come up with anything more organic—it seems like this is what everyone should always be doing.

What sets our Visual Assembly apart is its focus on political and social questions. It is designed for planning tangible spaces—cities, schools, hospitals—or addressing specific social issues. It is less about art for art’s sake and more about collective political art.
