The project of the Museum of Care began with a residency at David’s house in Fire Island, which he wanted to organize during his lifetime and planned to start with several people. In particular with the French philosopher Mehdi Belhaj Kacem and David’s student and intellectual partner Christophe Petit.
I was immediately offered a few more residencies to include in the network. The residencies include property management. So it will be a cooperation between the Care Museum, the David Graeber Foundation (davidgraber.org), and another managing partner.
We will be willing to negotiate with extended networks and residencies, but we will start with a small project, a few grants, we will try not only to provide a place to live, but we would like to find a small degree so that they can work on their projects.
