ROC SANDFORD is a writer and member of artists’ collective Ocean Rebellion. Roc modelled perceptual bias at Bristol, Penn State, and UCL and is a director of Mathematical Sciences UK, David Graeber Institute and Absurd Intelligence. They present a message of climate and nature collapse, currently inadequate policy response and sector-specific asks to multilateral bodies, finance, accountancy, government and academia. Writing, editing and interviews have appeared in many major print and broadcast channels and numerous documentaries have featured Roc’s work. Their most recent book, Burnt Rain (Hazel Press) was published in July 2023.
